What homeowners say

Excerpts from Google reviews, in the homeowners’ own words.

  • “We had a toilet break that ended up leaking down into our lower level, which was obviously really stressful. … They checked for moisture, set up drying equipment, and explained each step of the process so we knew what to expect. Everyone was professional, showed up when they said they would, and kept the area clean while they worked. The repairs on the lower level turned out great and you can’t even tell there was damage.”

  • “We had water damage in our kitchen due to an old upper line being snaked out, and the seam failing. … Scott and his crew did a wonderful job of putting things right, doing the job well, and keeping us informed of every aspect of the job. He worked directly with our insurance claims agent, and it was a seamless transaction.”

  • “Blue Valley Water Restoration did an outstanding job when my bathroom toilet overflowed and flooded my lower level. … They cleaned up all the water, set up the proper equipment, and made sure everything was completely dried out. Common questions

Straight answers. If your situation is different, call and describe it.

What should I do first when I find water?

Stay away from water near outlets, cords or anything plugged in. Shut off the water at the fixture or the main if it’s safe to reach, and take photos before you move anything. Then call us and we will tell you what happens next.

Do you repair the leaking pipe or water heater?

No. A plumber repairs the pipe, water heater or appliance. We handle the water damage it left behind: extraction, drying, moisture readings and documentation. If drywall, flooring or trim has to be replaced afterward, we can help with repairs too.

How long does drying usually take?

Often several days. It depends on how much water there was, what it soaked into and the conditions in the home. We take readings during the job and remove equipment when materials are dry, not on a fixed schedule.

Will my homeowners insurance cover it?

It depends on your policy and the cause, and your insurance company decides. Sudden plumbing failures are more often covered than gradual seepage or outside flooding. We document the loss and work with your adjuster, but we can’t promise what will be covered.

What is a free evaluation?

We look at the damage, explain what we see and talk through next steps before any work starts. Call or send the form to set one up.
